The history of JFE Engineering began in April 2003 with the integraion of the former NKK and Kawasaki Steel. By inheriting the steelmaking and shipbuilding technologies developed by the two companies, the engine business inherited the ‘spirit of monozukuri’ (Japanese manufacturing craftsmanship) from the manufacture of diesel engines to after-sales service, and is committed to providing safe, high-quality products and services with the best technology.
